EVEN CASUAL WORDS MATTER!!! THE HEAVENS HEAR AND THEY RESPOND 

 

Monday morning, the 18th day of May 2026 was a typical school morning in my home. 

The kids were up, ICE and I were on our toes trying to get them ready for school (as often happens on most school mornings). Even though we were moving the goal post, but it was without a lot of hustling and bustling and prodding and yelling 

7:10 AM , 5 minutes before their ride arrives at our front door, I was fixing my daughter’s hair (severely flustered) and I remembered how much she has been looking forward to her CELYOUBRATION day in school, and the following words welled up in my spirit and I just let them out: 

Me: I hope today is the day that your name gets picked and you get to sit in the rocking chair! 

And not long after that, their ride arrives, and I send them off with love in my heart and gratitude for another school morning successfully under our belt. ICE and I breathed a sigh of relief and set about preparing ourselves for our own day. 

 

11:24 AM: ICE sends me this picture!!! 

                                                         

And then we had the following conversation

OMG! As though the heavens heard me

They did

How did you get the picture?
[11:28, 5/18/2026] ICE: Ms W sent it on NHA school connect like an hour ago

I am so happy for her honestly

She's clutching her ducky too
[11:52, 5/18/2026] ICE:
Yes
[11:52, 5/18/2026] ICE: This will also help in teaching her to speak whatever good thing she wants into existence

A LITTLE BACK STORY:

A few weeks ago, as part of our daily happening catch up, my daughter let me know that her class teacher was randomly pulling up the name of a pupil each day and celebrating them by letting the student sit in her rocking chair, having the other pupils pen down something for him or her and importantly handing out a rubber ducky to the royalty of the day.

I thought it was a wonderful idea. But I was even more inspired when her teacher reached out to me and asked us to pen down a few words for her. Our letter along with the notes from her classmates would be given to her on her special day, and we did.

I was so excited for her, and I was even more excited (if that is a possibility) reading all the beautiful words from her friends and classmates.
